LANDLORD CERIFICATES

If you are a landlord or rent out one of your properties, even if it’s for holiday lettings you need a landlords safety certificate (CP12) we can help. A landlords certificate is basically like a minor service but with an added gas tightness safety test that is carried out on the pipework and appliances. This checks there are no gas leaks at the property. We then issue you with a certificate which is valid for a year for your insurance purposes. We encourage our landlords to get a full service with their landlords inspections as this can sometimes help prevent breakdown, prolong their system and boilers life. This can keep it running for longer, keeping their tenants happy and their repair bills low.

SMART THERMOSTATS AND OTHER CONTROLS

We enjoy installing Smart controls for other people, as we know what it means to make others lives easier and more efficient. We install most Smart thermostats and systems as well as all standard thermostats and programmers(wired or wireless). Did you know studies suggest a Smart thermostat can save you up to £250 a year on gas (compared to a system without a thermostat).

POWER FLUSHING

Inside your radiators floats metallic gunk and junk. We call it sludge. It is the number one cause of radiators not heating up properly. It can also damage your system, makes it less efficient and more expensive. It can also block and restrict pipes as well as radiators, affect hot water performance and even damage your boiler beyond repair. The fix to this is a powerflushing and the prevention is a system filter along with chemical dosing which keeps the water cleaner for longer. Powerflushing is chemical clean that removes sludge and it’s residue that has caked onto the inside of your pipes and radiators and allows it to flow and circulate like brand new once again. Some systems only require a cleanse and not a full powerflush. This is always advised to have after a new boiler is installed.
